Rassie Erasmus will reveal his Springboks team to face Italy on Monday 2 November in the evening, South African time, setting up the first look at who starts in Turin.

The match is on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Allianz Stadium, part of the Nations Championship.

Attention will fall on the six uncapped players in the touring squad: Yaqeen Ahmed, Sebastian de Klerk, Luan Giliomee, Markus Muller, Riley Norton and Emmanuel Tshituka. We covered the group in our earlier squad story, and the team sheet will show whether any of them is in the match-day side.

The Boks go into the game with plenty at stake. According to The South African, they are tied on 15 points with New Zealand.
