Springbok assistant coach Mzwandile Stick says the Boks cannot afford to take Italy lightly in Turin on Saturday 7 November 2026, with no place for complacency at the Allianz Stadium.

The match kicks off at 13h40 SA time and is live on SuperSport. "If you want to be in the final, you need to win each and every game," he said.

The Nations Championship Finals Weekend runs from Friday 27 November to Sunday 29 November 2026, so the points available in the remaining Tests matter.

Italy without key backs

Italy are missing Juan Ignacio Brex and Tommaso Menoncello through injury. Stick called their absence a big loss, but he still rates Ange Capuozzo, Monty Ioane and Paolo Garbisi. Speaking about Capuozzo, he described the player as world-class, and likely among the finest backs on the outside anywhere in the game.

Kolisi's milestone

Captain Siya Kolisi will win his 108th Test cap in Turin. "We just want to win. The first thing is to get the win," he said.
