Warren Gatland has a new job in the game: he is now a World Rugby coaching consultant, a role he has already used at the governing body's referees and officials conference.

Former Wales forwards coach Jonathan Humphreys also holds a World Rugby consultancy, as scrum consultant. At the conference, Humphreys presented on scrums with Gatland's help.

Scrum focus for the Nations Championship

The scrum focus in this month's Nations Championship is that loosehead props must not tuck the inside shoulder, and hookers must keep the brake foot grounded.

The conference came a day after the 24 top international head coaches met World Rugby officials to discuss the future of the game.

Humphreys, speaking about his own exit from Wales, said: "I'm not bitter about leaving because if you lose 17 games in a row you're lucky to stay in a job,"
