Springbok uncapped players left out of Italy Test 23
Rassie Erasmus has named his match-day 23 for Turin without any of the six uncapped tourists, after saying none of them is guaranteed a debut on the tour.
Follow-up to Springbok Ahmed doubtful for Italy Test with shoulder concern

None of the six uncapped players in the Springboks' touring squad will make a Test debut against Italy in Turin, with Rassie Erasmus leaving all of them out of the match-day 23.
Erasmus had already made clear that the newcomers should not expect game time as a given. He said none of the six is guaranteed a Test on the end-of-year tour, and the team selection for Italy bears that out.
The uncapped group is Riley Norton, Emmanuel Tshituka, Luan Giliomee, Yaqeen Ahmed, Markus Muller and Sebastian de Klerk. They came into the Springbok squad as part of a touring party that The South African reported is unlikely to see all six debut.
Erasmus did speak warmly of them. "They are special players, who all bring something different to the team, and we have full faith in their talent and skillsets."
Ahmed has a further problem. He has a shoulder injury and may have to return home for scans, as earlier reporting on his doubtful status outlined.
There is one notable return in the side. Salmaan Moerat plays his first Test of the season against Italy after injury.
South Africa go into the game with a strong record against Italy. Their first meeting in Turin came last year, and South Africa won 32-14.
