Garry Ringrose injury likely to keep him out of Ireland v Springboks Test
The hamstring problem is expected to sideline the 31-year-old for all three home Tests, and Andy Farrell has chosen not to add anyone to his 36-man squad.

Ireland look set to go through their entire home Nations Championship series without Garry Ringrose. The IRFU says a hamstring injury makes the centre unlikely to play against Argentina, Fiji or South Africa in Dublin.
Instead of reporting to the Ireland camp, Ringrose has stayed at Leinster to carry on with his rehabilitation. The 31-year-old has 76 Tests behind him and 15 tries for his country. He already sat out Leinster's 24-18 URC win over Munster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 24 October.
No call-up despite a growing injury list
Andy Farrell, the Ireland head coach, has chosen not to bring in any replacements, which leaves his squad at 36.
Flyhalf Sam Prendergast, 23, is a doubt for the opening Test because of a wrist injury, although he is continuing his rehab with the squad. Wing Jimmy O'Brien is working through return-to-play protocols after a concussion against Munster. Prop Tadhg Furlong is also a question mark: he has been cited over an alleged groin grab in the same match, and his disciplinary hearing is on Thursday 29 October.
Three home Tests, then Twickenham
Ireland start their November campaign against Argentina at the Aviva Stadium on Friday 6 November, with kick-off at 20:10 local time (22:10 SAST). Fiji visit on Saturday 14 November, and the back-to-back world champion Springboks follow on Saturday 21 November.
After the three home Tests, Ireland head to Twickenham for a finals weekend fixture. They go into the northern leg on the back of July's southern hemisphere tour, where they beat Australia and Japan but lost to New Zealand.
