Canada beat England 31-22 in Ottawa as De Goede hat-trick seals series
The Red Roses have now lost two in a row for the first time in a decade, and they face the USA in New Jersey on Friday 30 October in their last WXV Global Series match.
Follow-up to Ellie Kildunne on bench in Red Roses team for Canada rematch in Ottawa

England have lost two matches in a row for the first time in ten years. Canada beat them for the second weekend running, this time 31-22 in the rematch in Ottawa in the WXV Global Series, and captain Sophie de Goede scored a hat-trick of tries.
The result follows Canada's 24-21 win in Toronto the week before, which ended England's 41-match unbeaten run. The two sides drew 26-26 in Exeter in September, so Canada take the series 2-0. Before this series, Canada had not beaten England since 2016 and had never beaten them at home.
How the game unfolded
England started well. Maddie Feaunati went over for the opening try inside the first 10 minutes. Canada had taken over by the break, though, and led 12-7 at half-time.
England went back to their maul after the restart. Amy Cokayne finished one off to score, and the visitors briefly led 17-12. It did not last. Canada ran in five tries to England's three, and Savannah Bauder's score, the hosts' fifth, put the game out of England's reach.
Mitchell questions TMO and his side's play
England head coach John Mitchell said the TMO had no connection in the stadium. He called Jess Breach's disallowed intercept a possible turning point in the match.
He also looked at his own team. "Perhaps we have become a little bit predictable," Mitchell said.
They play the USA in New Jersey on Friday 30 October, with kick-off at 21:15 GMT (23:15 SAST). It is their final match of the WXV Global Series.
