Glasgow Warriors trailed by 17 points away to Benetton and still came away with the win, which keeps their United Rugby Championship season unbeaten.

Franco Smith's side gave themselves a lot to do. BBC Sport described their first half as poor, and they went into the break 10-0 down. Benetton fly-half Jacob Umaga made the break that sent centre Federico Zanandrea in for the first try of the game.

Things got worse straight after half-time. In the 42nd minute Louis Lynagh picked off a pass from Matthew Urwin and ran in under the posts, leaving Glasgow 17 points behind.

Three tries in eight minutes

Glasgow then drew level with three tries in the space of eight minutes. Euan Ferrie scored first from a rolling maul. Captain Kyle Steyn went over in the corner next, and then started the team move that Rory Darge finished.

Benetton went back in front through a goal from Umaga, who kicked two conversions and two penalties on the day. Glasgow had the final say late in the game, when lock Jare Oguntibeju barged over from close range for their fourth try, which decided the match. Urwin and Bayley Kuenzle each converted one of the Glasgow tries.

Where it leaves the two sides

After three wins and a draw, Glasgow are second in the URC standings, behind Edinburgh. Benetton are 15th.
