Bath have added a young Argentine scrummager to their front row, signing tight-head prop Marcos Camerlinckx, according to BBC Sport.

Camerlinckx is 22 and a former Argentina Under-20 international. He joins Bath straight after claiming this year's Super Rugby Americas Championship title with Pampas XV.

In August, he turned out for an Argentina XV in their match with the United States. Bath have not disclosed the length of his deal.

Johann van Graan welcomed the signing, saying: "I am sure he will fit into our group very well".
