This weekend's South African URC fixtures are split down the middle: two teams play away in the British Isles on Friday night, and two play at home on Saturday.

Both away games are on Friday 23 October and kick off at the same time, 20:45 SA time. The Sharks go to Cardiff Arms Park to face Cardiff, while the Lions are at Hive Stadium to play Edinburgh. In the UK and Ireland those games start at 19:45.

The Lions arrive in Scotland after a very hard week. They lost 31-14 to La Rochelle in the Champions Cup, a game that came after the death of lock Hyron Andrews on Friday 16 October.

On Saturday 24 October the action moves to South Africa. The Stormers take on the Scarlets at DHL Stadium in Cape Town at 16:00 SA time, which is 15:00 in the UK and Ireland. The Bulls host Ulster at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on the same day.

The full weekend schedule is on our rugby fixtures page.
