Seb Atkinson signs new contract to stay at Gloucester until at least 2029
The 24-year-old England centre had other options, head coach George Skivington said, but chose to stay with the Premiership leaders.

England centre Seb Atkinson could have left Gloucester. Instead he has signed an extension that keeps him at the club until at least 2029.
Head coach George Skivington said the 24-year-old had options to move elsewhere, and he called the deal a very significant re-signing for the club.
"Seb had plenty of options on the table, so his commitment to the club is a real indication of where Gloucester Rugby is right now," Skivington said.
Atkinson commits to a side that currently sits top of the Premiership. He joined Gloucester from Worcester in 2022 and has been a regular starter ever since, beginning 79 of the 84 games he has played for the club.
Atkinson won his first England cap in July 2025 and has now played seven Tests.
For Atkinson, the choice came down to weighing everything up. "When I took all of those things into consideration, signing a new deal was the only decision," he said.
