The Stormers Bolts' season is over after the Fidelity ADT Lions U20 beat them 38-18 in their SA Rugby U20 Cup semi-final in Johannesburg.

The game was played at UJ Stadium in very hot conditions. As a knock-out tie, it had only one possible reward: a place in the final, which is played the following week. The 20-point margin means the Lions U20 go through to that match, while the DHL Stormers Bolts head home with their campaign finished.
